Walked by here and saw this by chance with a friend. We split a lemongrass beef banh mi, and wow it was delicious! The beef is definitely melt in your mouth!
They also have a nice outdoor seating area and 10/10 would stop by again.
We accidentally found this place while taking a stroll around the neighborhood and decided to try it the next week. The best phew I had here in NY. Perfect serving size (or more) and staff were so attentive and accommodating.
their pho and tai ice tea tastes very good, but their spring roll.... was not worth paying for, not even a cent =( i hope they upgrade their spring rolls if they want to keep selling it for 10$ but since i go there mostly for the pho anyway. ill give them a 4, if possible 5 but the spring roll was really bad! it looked nothing like the uploaded photos that the people added on google. the photo shows it has some noodels inside but mine had a pinky sized, some sort of meat i could not tell what kind of meat it was over a very VERY thick wall of flour which made me feel like i was eating an unseasoned sticky, crispy flour brea.
The food portions are very big. The food was delicious and tases handmade. The service was great and really reflected a mom and pop shop feel. I would go again and would definitely recommend it to others. Regarding Covid I felt the store was clean and the outside seating was appropriate.
Had 2 banh mi sandwiches and a vermicelli bowl. I appreciated that the food was fresh, but unfortunately the bread was quite dry for the sandwich and everything was just really toned down/flat in flavor. The pickles were not quite acidic enough, even the fish sauce for vermicelli tasted a little watered down. Overall it was a disappointing experience, also more expensive than what's available locally
