Pictures don't do this justice! The decor is so incredibly breathtaking that you have to see it in person. The vibe is also very chill and laid-back. I loved the music. Food was excellent and portions were bigger than I expected. I had two tapas and two mains which were more than enough. For dessert I had to try the Boam cake that was phenomenal which was exactly what was described by our server Valentina. Everything was delicious!
I will definitely be coming here again, not only the service was amazing and very welcoming!, food overall was beautiful and tasty!!

Great vibes! This is a lovely place for a night out.

A welcomed and needed cuisine on Ditmars. This tapas spot, I feel it is still trying to figure out it's identity with bright lights and blasting edm music like a club when you first walk in. As you walk to the back, it feels like a few different spaces that doesn't fit well together, but can stand alone on their own.

I'd recommend reserving the front of you want to eat and get that trendy club vibe, the back 1st floor with a group of friends that want to talk, or upstairs for a more intimate night out with a date.

As far as the food, I'm really excited to try their next revamped menu of items. The tapas that we ordered were good, but nothing I would have to go back for.

    Food:
Octopus: This was the best dish. Tasty and cooked perfectly.

Spinach dip: Recommended skipping. It was like a mix of taziki, cream cheese, and dinner chopped spinach. Cold, super thick, and heavy.

Chicken: It was okay, but there wasn't much unique flavor that would warrent to order it again

Paprika cheese: super tasty, wish there's was more of it as it was just a tiny cube.

Shitako peppers: my go to dish at any place, it was bland. Not much flavor as I had hopped.

The service was great. The people were polite.

One small grip was we had to pay in cash because they didn't have a credit card machine. They wanted us to scan a QR code and add everything in manually. We couldn't get it to work.

Overall, it's worth a try and hopefully as they are around a bit longer the food will evolve with even more flavorfull dishes.

I had lunch here once before, I was very surprised with the back patio setup, during the day, it had a very calm and chill vibe, like I could have afternoon tea here. I had dinner here again, the tapas were just as good. Salads were just super fresh and tasty. Plenty of veggie options. Everything just tasted well executed. That fried chicken was so juicy and not overly greasy. Crispy bacon had just the right heat. Wait staff were quite friendly. Only negative comment was that the background music here was just too loud, it felt like a disco bar, might not be too attractive to certain foodies who just wants to have a nice meal.

Lagano is a lovely addition to the neighborhood! The space and decor are stunning, and the restaurant is much larger than you would think. I love an open kitchen concept, and the fact there are multiple levels and plenty of natural lighting. The food was as delicious as it looks and I'm excited to come back and try more of it!

My table of three shared the clams/mussels, burrata pomodoro, Cambodian chicken, calamari, churrasco steak and a chocolate dessert. The sauce in the clams was amazing and we were given extra bread just to soak it all up! The calamari was crunchy, fresh and plentiful! The Cambodian chicken was amazing esp with the za'tar sauce. The burrata was very fresh with heirloom tomatoes. And the cake was absolutely amazing! Soft with hazelnuts and milk chocolate, I fell in love. Will definitely go back and try the other tapas!

Me and my girlfriends went to this place because it just opened and boy do I have to say the food was delicious, so tasty from the scallops to the grilled octopus, to the mushroom croquettes to the hazelnut! Will be coming back here again and again.
