The New Thompson Diner

The food is authentic and the people are friendly. The restaurant has a certain charm that is hard to find.

I only had a coffee this week, and maybe a hamburguer last year. They serve latin food. Located in an old school dinner wagon, it does not even look too clean, but is a nostalgic remain of old new york, worth a stop.

This Diner is super small and very busy. Their food is delicious. The cook is fast and friendly. The entire staff is fast and attentive. The eating space has seating available and a flat screen tv on the wall where sports news is played in the Spanish language. The staff are bilingual and speak mostly spanish. The menu has so many of my favorite latino dishes. I had their sancocho and sandwich cubano which were really good. Breakfast time I had a toasted coen muffin and coffee and it was also tasty. I recommend this diner if you are ever nearby. The prices are fair and worth it.

Love their Baked Chicken with Rice and Beans. After an hour after completed the whole meal, I would almost guarantee that I enter food coma stage. It's good Spanish food.
