The Zafran Grille

Went there with my family and I was so happy with the food and service. All the starters were amazing. Highly recommend Zafran Special Chicken wings and spicy fried Calamari. Was so happy to finally find a halal steakhouse since it was always a spot of lookout for me when it comes to steak. I absolutely loved the quality of the food. The drinks were amazing one after another I had to get seconds. Great customer service. Friendly and cozy environment. Absolutely loved it.

Had to be the best Halal steakhouse in NYC. Absolutely loved the quality of the food and drinks. The owners were very friendly and personally welcomed us. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who likes steak and specially wants a halal spot. 10/10 customer service and cozy place to have a meal with friends and family. Not to mention very reasonable price range. Definitely coming back here again.

The food here is absolutely awesome. The gentleman who runs this place are very courteous and always welcoming. This is one of the best steaks in general I’ve had and it’s also Halal. The chef is from capital grille and does a wonderful job with all the dishes. Make sure to try the steak and the lamb chops. The salads are also great. This place is a gem for people who like steaks and Halal friendly. Make sure to pay a visit when in Queens.

The steak? Very delicious and tender.
The broccoli? Somehow tasted so refreshing and tasty.
The mashed potatoes were good but wish it had a gravy on the side.
The spinach also very tasty.
The fries were addicting.
All the cocktails were definitely worth getting!
The waiter whose also the owners son, so very accommodating and sweet!
The zafran burger, also good.
The mushrooms on the side tasted good with the steak.
The chocolate Lava cake, needs french vanilla ice cream instead. But still good.
The chocolate cake, very chocolatey. If you love chocolate, then you’re good.

Definitely the best halal steak in New York, looking forward to coming back here! The staff fast all day but continue to put on a positive attitude and keep on pushing. These two brothers genuinely put in so much care and effort to this business and pay so much attention to detail. They just got busier because of social media so please be kind and patient with them as they are new.
