This place is a total diamond in the rough. When my family of 4 arrived for dinner, we were treated like we were part of the family. The food was amazing! And priced right! We fed our family of 4 for under $50!! Each dish was a perfectly spiced culinary adventure. My 1 year old daughter adored the pickled cucumbers and onions they served on the side so much that she drank the juice at the bottom of the bowl. We've never had Burmese food before, so we ordered a couple of things and ate family style. We started off with the Shan noodle salad. It was unexpectedly warm and delicious. The pickled mustard greens were a great tangy counterpoint to the noodles. Next, we had the Burmese fried noodles with beef. It was topped with fried egg, and it was everything a fried rice dish should be. My favorite dish of the night was the teriyaki salmon. The fish was grilled to perfection, and the vegetables were an absolute highlight. No sad frozen veggies here! We finished off with a complimentary fruity dessert and fried ice cream.

Really delicious, authentic Burmese food. The tea leaf salad and fish soup are as good as any I've ever had. Curries were also very good. If you've never had Burmese food before it's a cuisine you don't want to miss out on.

So thrilled to hear we finally have Burmese food in the Capital Region ! We visited two weeks ago and we haven’t stopped talking about it since. We had Shan noodle, tea leaf salad, chicken curry, beef stir fried noodles, and every dish was perfectly balanced. Make sure to add that you want the fish sauce in the food - it makes all the difference. The tea leaf salad with crunchy beans was delicious, the stir fry was one of the best we have ever had (not greasy at all), the curry came with a generous portion of meat, and the Shan noodles were so, so tasty.

Super fresh, great portions and price. The service was also really friendly and warm. If I could give six stars I would. If you haven’t tried Burmese food before then now is the time to do it !

I have eaten Burmese food in Mill Valley, San Francisco, and the LA area, and was always sad that we didn't have any in the Albany area. I also couldn't understand why those restaurants Americanized Burmese food, for example, by adding greens to a tea leaf salad. Therefore, I was doubly happy that we both have a Burmese restaurant now, and that it's authentic. I also managed to snap up a few photos, because the food looked so good, that we kept just dividing in. The fish soup (mohinga) and tea leaf salad are my staples at any Burmese restaurant I go to, and I loved them here. I also tried the tofu curry, vermicelli, fish curry, coconut soup, and some sort of a fried dumpling, and loved everything. It has the ambiance of a small, school, cafeteria, and the service was definitely of someone first starting out, but both were pleasant. I can't wait to come back!
