Dinosaur Bar-B-Que

I MUST GO THERE AGAIN! If you ever go with a group, I highly recommend their family platter that feeds easily 4-6. We go two of them for a party of 8 and had plenty of leftovers. Even the sides were memorable!

I made a reservation thru Google. Google alerted me that my table was ready about 20 secs before they called my name. I had the pick 3: Ribs, sausage and brisket. All three were delicious with a nice smoked flavor. I picked the mac and cheese and whipped sweet potatoes for my sides. The mac and cheese was creamy and tasty. The whipped sweet potatoes were good, but not quite as sweet as I like. The service was very fast. We were in and out within a half hour.

The food was delicious and great service! Would have been 5 stars had I been warned my bottle of soda was $10!!!! Spent $20 on 2 sodas who ever came up with that is insane. Now I know why non alcoholic beverages aren’t listed anywhere.... worse than Yankee stadium prices.

I love Dino BBQ!! This place is really awesome, both at the Troy location and when I had them cater. Food is so delicious and worth every dollar. I had Dinosaur cater my wedding last year. They offer so much food. There was more than enough left over after the wedding as well. We had ribs for the next 2 months. They came and set up right on site and served all the guests and were very respectful and professional.

Great food, reasonably priced is just the beginning! Just the 2 of us ate here the first evening when it was fairly quiet and we sat looking over the Hudson River. We had the Sweetheart deal for 2, which was a full rack with 4 homemade sides. That’s a lot of delicious food. There are lots of side dishes to choose from, including the especially delightful Roasted Whipped Sweet Potatoes. We came back for a second night with the grand kids. It was very busy and we had to wait a ½ hour, which gave us time to take a walk. Worth the wait! The atmosphere was a kind of controlled mayhem, which is probably not unusual and as you should expect, as lots of people want to eat and drink here). The kids menu is very affordable and the kids had a wonderful time coloring the menu and watching the activity around them. They enjoyed the food too and the awesome waiter, who was a hoot and very patient, despite how busy he was. He earned a big tip and a lot of smiles.
