The menu is designed to bring you the best food. No matter what I order, it is always tasty and impeccably presented. Quang spares no effort in bringing flavor and delicious food to the customers' table. Highly recommend.
The pho was amazing! The bubble tea here is also pretty good. The owner was very friendly and talked with us while we sat at the bar eating our delicious food. He puts so much time and care into making all the broths and other ingredients from scratch. We were so full from the one portion of pho, very satisfying.
This hidden bistro easily has the best Pho in Troy. Pho was about double what I like to spend for lunch, but quality is there. The beef broth is rich, complex and authentic. Even the beef ball which is usually bland has excellent buttery flavor. Friendly service with a cool reggae music vibe in the back of Kim's convenience store (no... there aren't signs to help you get there!).
I stopped in because I love Vietnamese food, and there aren’t many good places for it around Albany. The place is a little hard to find, because in the back of a small convenience store. But once you’re inside, the setting is great. There’s a long counter and small tables. The open kitchen is in the back. I ordered Soy glazed chicken vermecelli, which was perfect. Everything was fresh and it had just the right spice. The service was great. Quang, the owner is a real restaurant pro. I’ll be back.
Quang's is everything you want in Vietnamese food: fresh, subtle, nuanced, and (most importantly) made by a Vietnamese person (Quang). As an added bonus, the atmosphere has the coolest semi-secret vibe. Go!
