La Strada

We arrived a half hour early for our reservation, but was seated immediately. The appetizers were on point! Very delicious. Unfortunately, we didn't get to our entrees because we waited a long time for it to arrive and decided to pack it up and go home. It was New Year's Day after all, they were pretty busy. We have gone there on 3 other occasions and this place is consistent. Friendly staff. It's a little cozy, but I love the atmosphere. My chair was partially in a hole beneath the carpet, so I don't know about that. It should get repaired. Wish we had more time to relax and stay. We'll go easy on the bread basket and apps next time.

Really not impressed by the service, empty plates sat on our table. It was my 1st time there in 30+ years, you would think that "new" customers would be treated warmly. On to the food...bread basket was fresh and varied, olives were fantastic. Excellent stuffed artichoke, calamari was perfect (I ordered it "underdone"). We split the surf & turf which was very good. Steak was perfectly char grilled and the lobster was seasoned nicely, the butter sauce was also very good.

Food, drinks, and service was excellent. Was my first visit to La Strada and will definitely be back. Price was very reasonable and portions were very generous.

One of our go to date night places. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is cozy. A nice salad is always included so you really don't need a appetizer. Very warm and attentive staff.
