The food has the most authentic German taste I've had since I lived in Germany. Great atmosphere! Highly recommend making a reservation.

Vintage German Fare. Extensive menu with choices for everyone, even vegetarians. Background German music plays while you dine. Waitresses are wearing traditional German dresses. It's small restaurant at the back of the bar, but don't let that fool you into thinking the food is just bar food. When we arrived a table had steamed muscles. My husband had goulash and I had sausage and potatoes, both delicious. We had cream of potato soup which was heavenly. Hubby had a beet salad that he loved. We shared apple strudel with vanilla ice cream. Service, food, environment was excellent. Would definitely go back.

A wonderful surprise in a small neighborhood restaurant. German menu and atmosphere. Extensive menu of nicely prepared german dishes. Decent beer selection - both bottles and on tap as well as a cocktail menu. The dining room is a little small and can get loud but there is also high table seating in the bar area. The service was quick, friendly and attentive.

Great for late night especially when you've been drinking and are getting the hungers! I recommend the box burger and the chicken and waffles.

It's a small joint but totally worth the trip for satisfying your belly with fatty foods. There's a cute little perch for you to eat on if you so choose. Best part is it's open until 1am. However they do run out of stuff!

Good German atmosphere. Good food, good beer but all bartenders never fill the glass to the liter line. You will not get a full glass and your money's worth. But, good people. And, if you want a good glass of wine, it's not here.
