HAVEN'T GONE IN A FEW YEARS...BUT TOOK MY KIDS THERE FOR THE FIRST TIME LAST WEEK AND NOTHING HAS CHANGED...STILL GREAT ICE CREAM...KIDS LOVED WATCHING THEIR ICE CREAM BEING MIXED ON THE STONE...
Always fresh ice cream and cones! Staff is super nice!
The ice cream is the best in staten island. They need to bring back their Peach Flavor.
I have been craving some delicious desserts lately, so I finally made a point to swing by Cold Stone Creamery.
It's moderately expensive, all things considered, but most of the prices are understandable and well worthy of the product. I paid $5 for a macaron ice cream sandwich, and I would do it again, so.
The sandwiches are made with oversized macaron shells about the size of your palm. Because they are kept in a freezer, the shells are a little chewy, and I prefer my macarons to be more crisp and airy. However, the salty caramel ice cream sandwich I ordered was just delicious nonetheless. It was drizzled with caramel, and the ice cream was tasty sandwiched between the cookie shells. It was an absolutely exquisite dessert.
I knew I should have ordered two... or, even better, about six or seven desserts. As soon as I finished my ice cream sandwich, I was planning my next trip back to try the red velvet ice cream sandwich, which is half-dipped in white chocolate, or the grasshopper ice cream sandwich, which is half-dipped in dark chocolate, or the blue velvet cake, which is red velvet cake but bluer. I can't wait.
