Got some sushi, and the NYStrip hibachi, miso soup, and a fried banana for dessert.
Overall I was very satisfied, a few technical things here and there (including seasoning) could use some work, but considering the sushi wasn't frozen, and the concise/affordable menu it's really just being picky. Casual atmosphere and friendly hostess, smells nice inside.
Would recommend
The fish is fresh here, I really like their specialty roll My Heaven.. it definitely is MY kind of heaven with salmon + tuna. Yum! For the opening they had 30% off, so I would be sure to get there early for a great deal on sushi rolls. I will probably come back again for a quick bite if I am having those serious sushi cravings again. The place was smaller than I pictured it in my head, not much to see, but food is not bad! Staff were attentive and helpful.
Me and my boyfriend just ate here for its grand opening! We were really impressed with the quality of food and service! It’s a small place but don’t let that fool you, its definitely worth your try! Their sushi was super fresh and the fillet mignon was super delicious and tender. The service was friendly and we got our food quickly. And a plus, 30% off during the grand opening.
Great value place for sushi and hibachi. Quality of food, service, and staff were great. The sushi was fresh and fatty, while the fillet mignon was very tender. Highly recommend this place.
Came across this hidden gem while traveled through NYC last weekend. In short, this newly-opened Japanese steak house serves hibachi dinner and sushi. Our group ordered the Yamato Roll ($14.95) and the Salmon hibachi dinner ($11.25). The sushi was delightfully fresh and the salmon had a crispy, juicy taste to it as well. The pricing is affordable and definitely a bang for my bucks. Would most likely visit again when I'm in town next time.
