Enoteca Maria

My late wife was Italian, the girls and I always trying to honor her and what's better then finding a good Italian restaurant and remembering her. Enoteca is the perfect Italian place with everything in it, the food is amazing and authentic, the only thing is it's a bit pricey but worth it and they don't accept credit cards, but they deserve 5 Stars. It's fine dining at it best and on the Island.

We had both Italian dishes and one of their guest cook dishes as well. Both were excellent. Their service was excellent. Although the place is not very large, they were able to accommodate a stroller inside. Would recommend going on the earlier side if bringing a child.

The food is very homey, rustic, Italian American goodness. You should go in expecting nothing fancy, and you'll be very surprised by the amount of flavor everything has. There are a lot of offal dishes on the menu which I enjoyed seeing. The prices are kind of high, but the portions are also huge.

Such a great idea for a restaurant. Everyone knows grandmas cooking is the best! They have a rotating menu depending on which grandma is cooking. We went the night of a Russian grandmother so that was a treat! They have a great wine selection and atmosphere. The owner stopped over to say hello and everyone working was so friendly to us.

Great little restaurant on SI, cozy, cash only and reservation is required. I had pineapple with prosciutto as an appetizer it was good. They have a nice wine selection if you're a drinker. My friend and I enjoyed our meal. Sorry I have no visual to add to this post, went a while back but, enjoy yourself when you go! #herecomesthenonas
