First time at Lobo Loco with my family and it was very good. Great staff, great food, and tv's everywhere so you don't miss the game. The music was on point. I definitely recommend this place if you're ever in Staten Island. Will be coming back soon.
Staff was friendly and food was delicious and fresh. We were seated at a table as soon as we arrived, we grabbed an early dinner and avoided the rush on a Saturday night. This is added to one of our go to places, can’t wait for the second SI location to open a little closer to home.
Went to Lobo loco for a Saturday afternoon lunch. Started with the white sangria which had nice flavor and just the right amount of kick. Followed up with the sampler and ended with various tacos and an order of plantains. Everything tasted great and had the right amount of flavor. I will definitely be back.
It’s great seeing a new restaurant come to the New Dorp area. The atmosphere is great when you first walk in. You first notice how clean and new the decor is. We arrived at 6:10 but no one came over the table until 6:27. Which was very disappointing considering the place wasn’t even close to half capacity. The drinks were very good honestly. But for the food, the pretzel was slightly burnt on the bottom. It wasn’t noticeable enough to send it back, but you were able to taste it. The shrimp quesadilla had very little flavor and consisted of cheese and shrimp (literally that’s it) the veggie and chicken taco were dry. A little seasoning would go a very long way here. I also asked for lemons for my water, which never came. Not a big deal but still the point. I will probably try it one more time as they still new and I’m hopeful.
Great food but the prices don’t live up to the quality. I tried the empanadas and they were terrific although the tacos weren’t as good. The beef taco was okay and completely fell apart. I tried the pulled pork taco after and it was much better. We got them on a sale price of 2.99 each but they are usually 5 dollars and I can’t even imagine spending that much for a taco that is “okay”. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here but I don’t think I would come back.
