Brookside Tavern

I recently ordered takeout from brookside and was pleasantly surprised. The burger was cooked perfectly which is a rarity for takeout and the fries were delicious. I had to wait a little bit to pick up my takeout order but it was mainly because the restaurant was busy on a Saturday night.

Can't wait to try some of the barbecue, my son had chicken tenders which were awesome!

Very relaxing place. Our server Joe was great and was a joy to talk to. The food was absolutely fantastic. The pulled pork was juicy, tender and favorable. It's one of those places that you don't judge a book by its cover. You have to dive into it. Glad Rockland has a place like this for us to enjoy

Great food and a friendly vibe. So far I've tried their wings, ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and "tornado" fries. So good. I had the pizza a while ago when it was the pie man, and if they are the same then those are good too.
