The Greek Kitchen

Best Greek food I have had in years. We discovered this near our office and have become addicted. The Gyros, the grape leaves, the spicy feta dip, today was soup. EVERYTHING is EXCELLENT! I want it again now and it has only been a few hours.

I am Greek and lived in Astoria all my life. Moved up here a few years ago and every Greek place I've tried was mediocre at most. I finally found lemon potatoes as good as my mom's. This place has great food and the employees were wonderful. Definitely going back.

The food is very good. And I found the portions to be ginormous! You get your money worth. The three of us left very happy!

First time here, tried the eggplant spread appetizer as well as beef/lamb gyro platter - both were delicious! The entree platter was huge! Shared with my husband and still had leftovers for lunch the next day. Each component was really well done - fluffy rice pilaf and pita, and the meat wasn't too salty like some places. Everything was nicely balanced and tasty. Don't forget to try the delicious Greek olive oil on the table!

Stopped by and ordered a lamb gyro. It is delicious with a nice amount of meat and fresh veggies. The pita is very good. It would be nice if they could add some outdoor seating. I will stop by for dinner and I hope the rest of the food is as good as the gyro.
