    The food is outstanding, the service is great... recommend the wings and filet mignon...bit pricey but worth it ..also the 12 year old rip Van Winkle is delicious and smooth

    Another favorite dining location where I often enjoy what I classify as "fine" dining. Charming decor, first class service and excellent food. Ownership is always on-site. Ample private parking. I enjoy starting at the bar which is always attended by great servers, then moving to a dining room table to have a wonderful meal every time. Never a disappointment. I eat here often and it has always been outstanding, going alone or with guests.

    Waiter was excellent. Busboy cleared all the silverware before entrees arrived, figured he was coming back with steak knives for the ordered prime rib. Never came back
    Got scallop special... Mashed potatoes under each scallop was lukewarm, but not cold. Maybe it's supposed to be served this way, not sure.
    Then my parents got their dessert and they forgot my wife's. The hostess was kind enough to get it when i got her attention

    The classic Steak Louie is the best steak in the Rockland area. Louie's on the Avenue has a home town feel in a romantic, Victorian home setting. Service was cordial and accommodating.

    We've tried the duck as well, and the honey squash puree in particular was to die for!

    Perfectly satisfying for your upscale steak house craving.
