Sparkill Steakhouse

Enjoyed dinner very much. The food and service were very good.

Went here for my birthday celebration and I couldn't be more pleased! The parking lot was filled so I knew it must be desirable- we parked on the grass and crossed a lovely little makeshift bridge. Upon entering the entryway we only waited about 5 minutes for them to clear our table long enough to notice the grand 20 ft ceiling! As we walked to the back of the room we were greeted by the maitre de and escorted to our seats. The ambient warm lighting made the room feel inviting and relaxing as we were seated next to a glowing fireplace. Immediately we were greeted by our waiter, a friendly Albanian gentleman. He was gracious and gave us ample time to decide what to eat. We went with the Salad for two, the 35 day aged steak and a lobster/shrimp combo. Salad ???? was packed with flavor from the multitude of fresh onions and delightfully presented. Then came the lobster and shrimp which was cooked to perfection and delightfully scrumptious. And of course the best for last- the STEAK! Presented on a steaming plate the steak is precut into bite sized medallions. A fine idea! Tender and rich in flavor just as steak should be. At the end of the meal I was presented with a tiramisu on the house and sung "happy birthday" a great touch, albeit out of tune haha. They still get 5 stars however because they waited till everyone had fully expressed they'd finished their meal. A European touch that is so often lacking at today's American restaurants. Altogether a splendid evening!

Thoroughly enjoyed this steakhouse. Excellent food and service. From appetizers to desserts, everything is wonderful.

Beyond expectations. The service is as good as the food. The ambiance is out of this world. This is a great place for a high-end dinner. Awesome.
