Saigon Spring

The food at Saigon Spring is hands down some if the best restraunt food I have ever eaten. The pork summer rolls were fantastic. I always get the chicken curry. No other restaurant beats their chicken curry!

I have been enjoying this restaurant"s food since they first opened. The food is always good and a very hard working and customer service friendly staff. I miss when it was not as busy, but great food is hard to hide.

A great place to enjoy Vietnamese food! I ordered the Clay pot chicken dish with came in an awesome caramelized sauce. Prices were fair and you get decent portions. Staff was nice and knowledgeable. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you haven't had a chance to enjoy Vietnamese food!

Saigon Spring is the best and a relatively big Vietnamese specialty restaurant in the capital area, there are always plenty of people during most of the times I dine there, but I never really have to wait for more than half an hour to be seated. They have decently friendly staffs. The dishes arrive pretty quickly after you order, there is not much of a downtime for waiting at all even when it's full.

They don't have a laundry list of appetizers, but they have quality options. Their spring or summer rolls are very refreshing. My favorites are the pork summer rolls, spicy lemongrass mussels, and stuffed chicken wings.

One of their highlights in Vietnamese cuisine is the soup noodles. They have by far the most tasty, authentic, and consistent soup noodles among the Vietnamese restaurants in the area. The stock of the soup is very flavorful, topped with very thin cut raw beef (types of meat depend on the dish you order). So after you submerge the medium rare beef slices in the soup, the beef slices are cooked just right. My two favorites are the Saigon Spring Special Noodle Soup and the Lemongrass Beef Noodle Soup. I also enjoyed their dry noodles a lot, such as the grilled chicken rice vermicelli and the spicy lemongrass beef rice vermicelli.

Last but not least, another favorite for me is their Vietnamese coffee. They give you a cup with a thick layer of condensed milk in the bottom, on top of the cup, there's the coffee filter with grind coffee beans and hot water, which allows the coffee to be dripped down into the cup on the condensed milk (similar to a French press). This way, although the coffee is made very slowly in front of you, the coffee is very concentrated, like an espresso shot. Once the coffee is finished dripping from the top, and you mix it together with the condense milk, it was absolutely phenomenal. The coffee was very strong, however, you only taste a hint of the bitterness because the sweetness of condense milk evens out the excessive bitterness in the coffee. The formula portion of coffee and condense milk is perfect.

We had a very good experience today. I didn't realize how popular this place was at lunch time. The staff is awesome and courteous. It's very clean and food is tasty. We asked for the chicken stock to be substituted and they were able accommodate despite the busy lunch rush.
It's spacious and not too noisy.

I am definitely coming here again.
