Glenville Queen Diner

There employee Mark is absolutely hilarious. Best meal out in a long time. The roast beef club is amazing.

Had a wonderful time as my Wife and Myself went out to Breakfast for a Great Mother's day. We left the Kids Home and went out. Service was GREAT AND BREAKFAST OR BRUNCH WAS WODERFUL. We will DEFINITELY be going back. If you have never tried this Diner then I would Highly Recommend it.

My daughter, husband and I stopped in to the Queen yesterday (Mother's Day) around 5:00PM. We hadn't had a plan to go out, we just hoped they would be open. They were open and the wait staff couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming. We each had an excellent dinner and were so well served. This is a very friendly place and though I had been there for lunch with my family many times, I wasn't sure how it would be on Mother's Day when more people are likely to show up. The Queen has never disappointed us...food is great and staff are terrific, whether it's Mother's Day or any other day. Stop in some time.

Service was good but very tacky to roll a cart with a bus bucket through the dining room to collect dirty dishes. Server said everything was made in-house, but, clearly, it was not. Not fresh roasted turkey/gravy and not made-from-scratch apple pie. Overall, an adequate meal, but I probably won’t be back. Breakfast looks great! A friend’s sandwich was very thick and she liked it.

Typically like the diner, however, my mom order the pork chop for 24 dollars, two sides came with it. When she got the dinner, She couldn’t even cut the chop! The manager just happen to come over and ask how things were, we told him not great and he said she could have another but most likely it would be similar and he had a bit of attitude. He did suggest getting another meal and offered a menu. We took the menu even though the rest of us were almost done. She ended up ordering a burger. While waiting for the burger and the rest of us finishing our meals, the waitress(whom was very good and sincere) came over and said that the sides that came with the pork chop needed to be returned or we would be charged for them (really?) So she did substitute one side for the fries that came with the burger but took the other side away. I can’t believe they were going to charge us even though they would end up throwing them away because my mom had had a little of each! (Well hopefully they were throwing them away). So anywho....we all finished, mom lost her appetite and then the burger arrived( which we were charged for) which she had boxed! Manager customer service sucks, server was kind and accommodating, hence the three stars!
