Guysanese restaurant. Food is good sometimes . I think its different people cooking so the food don't always taste the same.
Restaurant always clean, staff always friendly, and food always good.
I believe this was my first time eating Guyanese food. What an experience! No mystery meat! The first day I went I ordered chicken and lo mein. My sides were an egg ball and doubles. The egg ball is wrapped with casava. I mostly ate the sides with a little of the main course. Really enjoyed everything. The chicken was crispy where it should be and the meat was tender. Very flavorful. Unfortunately the combo of egg and beans in the doubles was a bad mix for my belly but I don't regret a single moment. It was good I had to sample something else. This time I ordered shrimp fried rice and 2 casava balls. No soy sauce necessary. Seven large shrimp with some spice and something good on it mixed with the rice dam! I'll be looking for this type of food when I get back to Maryland.
The food is different from what I normally eat. So I'm not sure if it was seasoned the way it should be. My dishes had way too much rice for me. I ordered Curry duck, fried chicken, a egg ball, and spinach that comes with rice.
