    I went here on 7th birthday, 1969. The restaurant was a good place then. I had the patty melt when I was 40. Good food.

    Friendly atmosphere, staff were great the food was fantastic. Stopped in for lunch i definitely left satisfied. Definitely recommend stopping in for a bit of Watkins Glen history, and great food.

    Old fashioned kinda good and reasonable with prices. Downside for me was I am super snobby about lettuce wilt and rust. I prefer spinach and that was not available. The romaine looked kind of old, but I picked through it and found enough to make due. The mac salad, potato salad and coleslaw all seemed homemade as did the dressings. I added a scoop of tuna and the tuna was great! My husband had a burger and poutine fries. Both were very good. Bill was 23.00. Yay for not fast food and being affordable.

    Love going here for "diner" food. Large menu especially for breakfast. Service is very good.
