An Italian Affair

Absolutely wonderful! The staff was very friendly and attentive. The pricing is reasonable and portions are huge! I think the best thing on the menu though is the deep fried cheesecake, though. Can't recommend this place enough!

Super friendly staff. Delicious food. Huge portion size (always enough food remaining to take home). Their Stromboli (I order "The Works", a meat filled version) is packed with meat, veggies, and cheese. It's literally large enough for 5 or 6 separate meals. It pretty much fills a large pizza box.
Huge garlic knots. Mozzarella sticks taste like they're homemade...they definitely don't have that store-bought taste or consistency. Sauces also don't taste like they're from a can or jar, as some restaurants seem to do. Chicken Martini is a familiar favorite.
Haven't been disappointed there ever! Whenever we visit the kids in college in Potsdam we take the short trip up to Messena to dine at An Italian Affair. It's definitely worth the detour!

Food here is great. Clean restaurant and respectful staff. Owner is a nice guy. Music played is usually 80's pop/rock fare. Good for take out, a date, or a family outing.
