Barking Dog Saloon

The best wings. No competition. Great flavor and they don't give you the typical wing heartburn. We also ordered the dog bite burger which was great, and the salt and vinegar tater tots were out of this world (yes, salt and vinegar tater tots). Excellent service and friendly staff. Don't pass this place up.

The waitress was awesome. She hustled and she had it all under control. The food was delicious. The Maple Chipotle wings and meat lovers pizza was delicious. Top it off with a Down East Cider made the meal.

Glad we weren't deterred by the surrounding scrap facility - at first glance it looked like the beginning of a classic horror movie lol.
The establishment itself has a great outdoor space with pavilion, seating, several corn hole boards, and fenced in grass area.
Drinks- a dozen or so craft beers on tap, many from NY breweries. We opted for two different beers from nearby In Law Brewing while waiting for our to go order.
Food- the only regret was not getting an order of bone-in wings. Several diners around us ordered heaping plates and made us question going boneless. Still delicious - spicy garlic aioli and mango habanero sauces were on point (and amazing blue cheese!). Chicken quesadilla, bacon cheeseburger, fries, and fried chicken sandwich were fresh and good sized.
Highlight- salt & vinegar tots. I would drive the two hours to get those again.

The atmosphere wasn't really for me, but I did mostly enjoy the food. I'm not usually a big fan when a place has too wide a variety since it usually means they don't do any of it very well, but most of what I tried was good. My biggest complaint was that two of us ordered burgers medium, and both came well done. They were still good, but why ask if you aren't going to cook it that way? I was very pleased with the crispness of all of the fried foods. Nothing was soggy.

Awesome spot. The food was delicious, and a lot of beers to choose from. Had the chicken wings, the wings themselves were great quality and the sauce was homemade, they might be the best wings I've ever had. Also had the hamburger, the patty was clearly fresh not frozen, and was also amazing. Atmosphere was great, especially with the wood fireplace. Staff was super friendly too. We drove 45min out of the way to check this spot out and I'm really glad we did, look forward to going back again to try their pizza.
