Goose Landing

The service was okay, the salad and dressing (packaged) were so/so, the baked potato and beets were very good as was the rice pudding; however, the prime rib roast or whatever they called it was very disappointing, it was a large 14 Oz piece they said they were out of the 12 Oz size so I had to pay extra even though I could not eat very much of it, it was full of fat and gristle and the tiny knife could not cut through it unless you pressed really hard when trying to cut through it, it was not very hot when served. I had to chew the cut pieces for a long time to get much meat out of each bite and had to remove many pieces which I did not want to swallow. I was able to eat about about 1/3 of the portion. The tiny serving of dipping sause was good. I think I would go back to Goose Landing Restaurant but would not order the Prime Rib Roast. The meat was terrible but I think many of their other selectios must be better. I feel the price was quite expensive cosidering the low quality of the cut. It cost me about $33. for the meal and I left a little $3. tip because the service was okay.

As brit it's a quirky place but the food is fresh and tasty, friendly service!

I love the chicken jalapeno cheddar burger. It has a cheese sauce rather than a slice of unmelted cheese product.
