“I’ve enjoyed Jrecks most of my life, since I’m not a huge cold cut guy. They know what it takes to make a great hot sub. I’m not sure why anyone would pay more for a sub that’s run through a toaster oven. Their staff is always listening to the customers, instead of rushing them through the line. I also like the family feel of their restaurants. A lot of other restaurants these days have touch screens, TVs, and lounges- I think their atmosphere is a whole lot more relaxing- where people are usually chatting and not distracted by everything going on around them.”

“I can’t complain, while the outside of the restaurant appears as though it is out of business the inside was decently clean. The portions of food that was put out during the lunch hour were small, insuring that a mound of food wasn’t left to sit for hours upon hours. I enjoyed many Chinese classics as well as ice cream and desserts. Tasty food for the price.”

“Not a bad place.. Has opened and closed a few times in the past (reportedly due to health issues, but that might be rumor) and each time they remodel it to look a little nicer. The food is standard Chinese buffet fare, so no surprises here. The selection is a bit lacking in comparison to the buffet in Potsdam or Watertown, but it gets the job done if you don't want to drive an hour to a bigger one. The food can get a bit stale between the lunch and dinner hours.. So just be aware of that.”

“You can't go to the north country and NOT get Jrecks! Every time I go home I can't not go to Jrecks for my favorite sub and their fried pickles. It's a true taste of home. Their bread and meat for some reason just taste so much better than Subway's and I can't figure out why. Be sure and ask for the chicken popper sub.. You can even get them to put buffalo sauce and blue cheese on it.. It's amazing. The fried food sides are great. Try out the fried pickles and mushrooms!”

“Wow! By far the nicest McDonald's I've ever been to! A little hidden gem up here in the North Country. Apparently they just finished an extensive remodel and it shows, it looks amazing! Beautiful interior and exterior and free built-in games at a few of the tables to keep the little ones entertained. To top it off, the staff is attentive, courteous, and and efficient. No problems making a grilled cheese for the vegetarian kiddo and even turned the burger buns so the nice toasted flat part was on the outside. I would visit this chain more often if they were all like this!”
