Cooper Street

My first time there, I had heard about Coopers from others. I had a steak very tender and tasty. Really loved the Vegetables .Everybody at the table enjoyed their meal. I was to stuffed for desert. I definitely would go back.

This is a nice large corner restaurant and bar on a main Street in Babylon, close to Bayshore. There is plenty of parking in a rear lot. We were a group of 18 on a Saturday afternoon, and what was especially nice was that they accommodated us by setting up a long table in advance. In addition, they allowed us too have separate checks, some as couples. Not many places would have done that, especially given that we are not locals or have been there before. The service was very good, and the various lunch entrees were tasty and generous according to everyone. I had an excellent chicken salad sandwich which came with potatoes ( baked, mashed or French fries). I had a heaping portion of creamy mashed potatoes.

The only suggestion I was asked to include in this post is that there should be gluten free choices, especially bread.
