    Fantastic baked goods (really, quite exquisite), abysmal business hours.

    More than a few times I've really wanted to go down there and get some of their fantastic cupcakes, only to find out they either closed 20 minutes ago, around 4 or 5 in the afternoon, or just were not open that day altogether.

    In all fairness, the two times I have been able to get there while they're open, the cupcakes have never disappointed, quite the opposite in fact. Both times they exceed my already high expectations, the quality consistent across, from my experience, their entire selection.

    If you're in the area and they happen to be open, the product is well worth the trip, but it's just not practical to have to work my daily schedule around theirs for some cupcakes.

    The store is incredibly charming and has the best baked goods you will ever have in your life. A great place to buy anyone you care about sweets.

    I contacted many places in NYC before contacting The Sugar Chic -- the others would not make only 5 custom cookies. The Sugar Chic made me gorgeous custom cookies in the shape of Vespa's for my bridal party. They did not even mention the small order. I was so excited when they arrived and the girls loved them! Not only were they adorable, they were delicious!
