Not big on pizza but this place was good

The staff at this pizza place are very nice, good customer service on taking order by phone, and patient. They always can make an order to what you like, which is good. Ive gotten deliveries from here on a weekend mostly. And the delivery is good timing. I ordered the chicken francaise with tortellini. The lemon sauce is great and the chicken cooked well. They add baked lemon slices on top with parsley garnish, which add to the flavor. I ordered this a few times and with the penne, usually on a weekend. The same dish on a Monday, was not made the same( maybe a different cook)?

Previous owners are gone, thank goodness. Pizza was oily, not sure they used real cheese. New owner Johnny makes a great pie. Unfortunately so far he has not been able to erase the bad reputation the previous owner gave it. I normally get a round pie with sausage. Not oily at all, cheese is creamy and real, sauce is good, crust is flavorful and cooked as you ask for it. If you ask for well done, that's what you get. I usually freeze left over slices and reheat in oven. Let people know we finally have a decent pizza place in Deer Park.
