A no thrills eating restaurant. This doesn't mean a lack in quality or quantity. Choose what you want from their deil display of seafood and eat in restaurant. They're famous for there twin lobster. Which was awesome!
I recommend ordering it broiled. The only negative I found was that they do not provide any Seafood Fork (aka, lobster pic), or Nut Cracker. You can leave a $6 dollar deposit, in order to rent one. I also had the raw oysters, which were massive and delicious. I will definitely return.

Today I had a chance to stop here for a quick lunch. They had a nice $7.99 lunch menu with some add ons like appetizers or soups. The new England clam chowder was hearty and tasty and enjoyable. The broiled scallops were not my favorite, they were floating in the broth and were overpowered by it. Over the years I've eaten here on many occasions and I have liked all the food. This entree was the first exception

Ordered fish for christmas eve dinner. Was fresh and delicious. Well be ordering for next year. Staff was very helpful in ordering.

Fish market had everything! The line was long for Christmas Eve but they were very organized and friendly. They also gave out mini appetizers for the line which was super nice. Crab cake was delishous!
I will be back to order food..

Southside is not your typical dining experience. It's a fish market that has a restaurant or vice versa depending on your perspective. The food is tasty but nothing you would rave about. The deals are good and you seat yourself. It's a great way to have a seafood dinner without breaking the bank and the seafood is always fresh. I've shopped at their fish market for years and years but have only eaten there a handful of times.
