On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

It was good. The food was delicious yet felt like it was a bit over priced. Also the portions we're matching the price they put next to it. The staff was friendly and hospitable. It's also good that they have a bar area for people who want to eat on the bar.

Food was not bad. Chicken Tacos were good, very cheap with sour cream. Chocolate cake dessert was very good. Service was ok. Barely anyone there.

I will break this up into food and service. I went on a Friday the rest. Was not too busy yet. Server could have been more attentive. When my large beverage was empty I had to ask for a refill after waiting for a long time to even see a person come by. The ones that did just kept walking. When I ask for a refill others at the table needed refills as well. They got none. Do staff not only had to be prompted but failed to observe. Same slowness occurred for dessert and bill. Waitress seemed to know how to waitress. Food was average lacked any flair. It was very bland. I had fajitas. It was onions peppers and grilled chicken with no seasoning. Daughter had chicken tacos wife had steak fajitas. So if bland is what you want then it will be better then the rating I gave. For the price non specials it should have been better

The food was better than I thought it would be. The mixed drink I had was very good. Menu selection was good. I had plenty to eat. Service was sub par from our server. Atmosphere is ok. Bar area is comfortable. Parking is plentiful. I would go back.

Went for Valentine's day dinner as usual everything was excellent. A great local place to go for a good time. Can't beat their happy hour. Friendly people and good prices
