Village Idiot Pub Lake Grove

Typical bar food, we had burgers. The burgers came out dry and the bacon was so hard I thought I broke a tooth. The home made potato chips were half cold and the other half piping hot. I wish we had a better experience because this is a local restaurant and bar in my neighborhood, and I want them to succeed. This place looks like a great bar, the food needs some work, especially with other local bar & grills just up the road from them.

I have been to this place several times. I keep going back, good food, my burger was cooked perfectly to order, give it a try. They are now serving a very good brunch on Saturday and Sunday

We were there for the Football game on a Saturday night. Great atmosphere for that! TVs everywhere you look. They had drink specials, and food specials. Lots of families. Food was very good, and the service was awesome. They also have a Sunday brunch that's very reasonably priced. I've had their breakfast specials at their Patchogue location, and it was very good and reasonably priced. I like this location much better because the service was really good.

I had my daughter in laws baby shower here yesterday and it was beyond my expectations. We had a brunch and the food was delicious, the staff was excellent and the catering room is beautiful. Thank you so much guys...great job and the waitress Devin was terrific

Bartenders charged different prices for the same gin and tonic. 6...8 and 9$. It was as bright as a grocery store. Lights need to be more sexy. Loved the band band Rhinestone Pegasus. Had fun!
