First time here. Excellent food and service! Will definitely be back to try out dinner items.
Good food at reasonable prices, (which is getting harder to find in Patchogue). A new pub you would swear had been there for over a century. Warm and inviting. Friendly staff. We had a party of ten and they had no trouble seating us.
Awesome awesome awesome!!! I went here for dinner with my brother last weekend and we had a fantastic experience. My brother’s favorite author is James Joyce, so he had been dying to dine here. The atmosphere is perfection. It is spacious, but retains a coziness. From the walls with aged murals of James Joyce to the super impressive chandeliers comprised of warmly lit antique style Edison bulbs of different styles with a few red ones added into the mix, the ambiance is divine. This place is effortlessly cool, sexy, and charming. It would certainly be a great spot for couples, as it also evokes a romantic vibe. Service was prompt, and our waiter was friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend the Scotch Egg and Jumbo Pretzel with IPA Beer Cheese for appetizers; totally sublime. For our entrees, we both selected the James Joyce burger, which I have to say was one of the best burgers I have ever had. I wish we would have saved room for dessert, as I’m sure it would have been just as sensational.
Great place to go, the food was good and the staff is nice, is not expensive and they have a good DJ playing. Also, it closes at 4:00 am so you can really enjoy your night there. I suggest getting there ”early” around 10:00 pm otherwise you'll have to wait in the line.
Guinness on draft poured the right way. Supreme atmosphere with dark woods and murals on the walls. Each mural has their own back story that the bartenders are intrigued to tell you about. Their food always impresses me whenever I come by. I've never seen this restaurant busy, which may or may not be a good attribute. I rather enjoy a quiet and intimate atmosphere.
