Island Lake Diner

Very good food and the service was excellent.... Very clean from the front door all the way to the bathrooms.. Which has really cool lights by the way

Can only rate breakfast which is what we usually have. But i find the staff friendly and the service very good. Prices less than almost all diners we go to. My only gripe, green peppers (not many) in the home fries. Do not like green peppers, can make things taste bitter. Wish they would use red, orange or yellow peppers. Coffee is good. Try it more than once, ANY restaurant can have an off day.

UPDATE have gone back several times. Service and staff are still top notch, we mostly go for breakfast
My gripe is still about the home fries. They do not come put HOT even after asking for well done. They ate burnt on the bottom and "raw" in the middle. I hope they improve this cause it's a deal breaker for us.

We had a really nice meal here. The food was cooked perfectly. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. I would certainly eat here again. They have earned their great ratings and are worthy of good reviews.

Very good food at reasonable prices. Wait staff is excellent, they are friendly , they know the menu and they come running when you need something. Bill, the manager, seated us instantly and was also hopeful and friendly. Stop by sometime, Thursday is shrimp night. The shrimp is awesome.

I recently discovered this diner and I've been every day for the last three days, it's so good! Excellent food and exceptional service, love the spinach pie, affordable breakfast options and they have my new favorite salad.

The consistency is however lacking, which is a shame because some of the food is decent quality, but it's hit or miss.
