Stopped for a slice to see how their pizza is. I've been disappointed by many of the pizza places on LI but I keep trying. And I wasn't disappointed here. This little place has been the best pizza I've had in 8yrs of being on LI. Thin crust, well done, crispy, great flavor, and it passes the fold test. Hopefully I'll have more reasons to get out this way as it's an hour+ drive from where I rest my head. BTW CK marsala slice, awesome and the pinwheels are the same. Great staff also.
BANGING!!.. Great new Pizzeria with lots of nice special slices.. the House Slice called Marinelli slice was amazing. The deep dish crust was perfect and the slice was Thick and full of good ingredients and flavor!!. The sweet Chilli Chicken Slice was also amazing.. nice to have some Hot New Flavor in the mix.
I've lived on long island for about 6 years now, but I spent 33 years living, growing up & eating in Brooklyn, NY. On recommendation from a coworker, I picked up a regular cheese pie from here because My wife's door dashed pizza never made it because of an accident. This is now our favorite pizza place. It is as close as we've EVER gotten to Brooklyn pizza since being on the island. The staff is great, the food is quick & most of all, DELICIOUS.
So Ill start by saying everyone who works there is friendly, and motivated. Its a small and really nice little pizza/restaurant. I have went there twice and one night I ordered the Chicken Parm dinner, and tonight a regular pizza pie. The chicken parm was pretty good. The sauce had good flavor and texture, and the spaghetti was not bland and felt homemade. The cut of chicken itself, however, was a tad on the chewy side, but the flavor kind of made up for it. The pizza was also pretty darn good, probably the best pizza that has been in that particular shopping center in a long, long time. The sauce was good, more of a sweeter sauce. The cheese was perfect the right amount, and the crust was nice, fluffy and soft. There was a tad bit of grease but that was ok for me. The prices here for the dinner options are definitely better than almost all competitors. The pizza prices are definitely a tad higher than the eastern suffolk average. I do recommend eating here and giving them a chance, and yes I will be back for more.
My new go to spot for sure. Awesome slices, nice atmosphere, friendly employees (a few cute ones too!) and right down the street from me. What more could you ask for? Got a chicken bacon ranch slice which was stacked high with chicken and a grandma slice which the sauce was perfectly balanced. Definitely cooked with some love. Best place around hands down!
