Food was good but they don’t substitute any sides for you.
Solid place for a seafood meal right next to the lagoon. The entrees have huge portions. The two of us shared one softshell crab special, and almost couldn't finish it. Unfortunately I'm a bit disappointed by how they chose to cook the crab. It seems like it was first fried and then drowned in a garlic sauce. Why would anyone throw a perfectly deep fried softshell crab that's crispy outside and hot and fresh inside into some thick sauce and let it become soggy ???????????? Soggy soft shell crabs are hard to chew.. On top of that, deduct another star for the $17 fried scallops appetizer which has only 4 scallops and nothing else..
Great place. Ordered Pan roasted salmon, it was delicious! Friendly staff.
Freshest food ever! The service was friendly and the prices reasonable. Lovely atmosphere to have my fish tacos. My husband had the fried scallops that were lightly breaded and tasted fresh caught.
We came on a rainy late April afternoon, but in warm weather there is outdoor rooftop seating overlooking Montauk Harbor. Lovely!
This is our go-to spot for drinks. We try to have dinner here occasionally and recently did on a busy holiday weekend. I had the fried fish platter which was ok. The tarter sauce they offered-was not to my liking at all.
I also had clams casino 2 days in a row and they were outstanding. Busy weekend so I know it gets crazy. The bartender in the back is a sweetheart and I will come again when things get a little less hectic out there.
The bars serve good drinks and the beer selection is decent. The staff are good and the restaurant is clean.
