I feel bad for all the those that had a bad experience here, ours was great! Everyone was very personable, the guy making our food was so gentle and you could tell he cared about what he was doing (not like most places where they just throw it together and you hope for the best). They didn't get upset if they had to repeat once or twice or if it took a moment to respond (I have trouble sometimes understanding what is being said when people have masks on). The guy on the register was also great.
Any business that would put up a sign offering free food to those in need is good in my book. I am in need of a gyro pretty much all the time, which is why I live Skorpios.
Great food. Great price. Skorpio special is amazing
Lovely Greek Restaurant. Smaller space, but felt cozy, not cramped. Portions are tremendous. The four of us shared the Special Dip Platter before our meals. The appetizer plus a cup of soup or salad would have been plenty. We ordered two chicken souvalki dinners, moussaka and Greek meatballs. The entrees come with soup/ salad. The lemon soup was thick and seasoned well. Most of the entrees came home with us for future meals as it was TOO much food. Try the Greek beer too. Can't wait to go back to split a meal with the hubby and save room for the baklava. ????❤️????
Everyone else go home, their gyro is the mac daddy. Go home, I'm serious. I've been a New Yorker for 30+ yrs and these guys are the bomb. Don't waste your time anywhere else, their packed out pitas will fill you and your wife up for days. Delicious, 5*
Easily some of the tastiest food I've ever had! The lentil soup was delicious as was the gyro and rice pilaf with gluten-free (!) pita bread. Even the broccoli was a treat! Plus, the portions were ginormous! Friendly staff. We'll be going back again and again!
