Parea, That Little Greek Place

Really good Greek food. This restaurant is at the location of the Mediterranean Snack Bar, which closed when its owner retired. Parea does a great job retaining the best of that restaurant.

Same cooks in the front on the grill and in the back on the ovens. Same food. Seems to be the same menu contents.

Best Greek Salad on Long Island by a long shot. Very tasty and if you like salad this could become an addiction.

Tonight we had the Steve’s Combination grilled meat platter and baby lamb chops. They both came with a side Greek salad, and grilled pita bread. Be sure to also get the awesome side dishes of grilled onion sauce and separate yogurt sauce.
As of today they do not have a liquor license, so if you want wine with your dinner, bring your own.
