Nisen Sushi

Best happy hour around! The lychee martini is my drink go to, when I'm there. They have phenomenal oysters on the half shell! Small and large portions available. Plus, they have a very good happy hour menu! Not just sushi. Something for everyone!

Their happy hour menu is great! I had the vegetable spring rolls and spicy tuna sushi rolls. They were both tasty and the prices were good too.

I have been coming here since they opened and honestly....I have never been disappointed with the food. Over the years...the rolls and pieces have gotten smaller but yet they cost more....I guess that's to be expected though. The reason for 3 stars is the service. Our waitress this time barely spoke English and made ordering a challenge. The food came out slowly and in drops and drabs. We'd get one appetizer, then another 5 minutes later. They forgot one roll completely (hey...it happens)...but waited 20 minutes for our forgotten roll with a side of spicy mayo. The waitress had no idea what was going on. Our drinks also took forever to arrive....we ordered drinks with 3 different people and 10 minutes later, they finally arrived. It's not that we won't go back, but for a restaurant this highly rated and priced the way it is....we expect better. Good sushi places are a dime a dozen...and unfortunately Nisen isn't our favorite anymore.
