Love that Riley's is back! Love seeing old friends like Carla and Jill serving and making new friends on the floor and behind the bar. The quality of the food is excellent as always. The new menu keeps the old Riley's traditional favorites and adds some new tasty options and reasonable prices. Good luck to Chef/Owner Brett Hughes in the new location.
My wife and I have been going to Riley’s since they were in Huntington. They have always had great food (meatloaf, buffalo chicken egg rolls etc...), incredible staff, amazing drinks and a cozy atmosphere. Now that they are in East Northport it has now become my family’s “Cheers.” The old staff is back, with the addition of some exceptional new servers and bartenders. The food is even more incredible and with the addition of the outdoor deck it truly enhances the atmosphere. Whether you are going for a quick drink, looking for that comfort meal, or just out with family and friends, Riley’s is the place to be! Welcome to East Northport we are so happy to have you here!
Our server was very friendly and engaging. We were there Saturday September 26th at open; it was servers first day. The entire staff was friendly and helpful.
I had the salmon plate(excellent).and my wife had the Texas Salad with steak and o-rings.
Best of luck to you guys; you got a good thing going.
Absolutely love Riley's. As an East Northport resident, I went to their Huntington location for years. Now that they are right down the block, life is good! Everything I've ever gotten is super fresh, has solid portions, creative ingredients, and is all around just legit delicious American food. It's also cool that they have such a variety depending on my mood. Occasionally I'll get a random urge to be healthy, usually lasting no more than a few hours tops, but nevertheless when that does happen - the salads here are freaking amazing. Especially the Autumn Harvest and Baja Blend I like the best with some grilled chicken or shrimp. Up until now, was there even anywhere to get a salad around here? Hell no there wasn't, but now there is. Seriously good ones to boot.
Now, on to the meat and potatoes... where do I even start?! Mac n Cheese, Gumbo, Fish n Chips, Steak Sandwich, Chicken Wings, Bolognese?! They all never ever disappoint and always hit the spot. I've probably had everything on their menu 10x, it's all great. The vegetarian wife looooves their hummus and their black bean burger as well. Honestly I like that stuff too, not gonna lie, I always steal a few bites. I should also mention that their kids chicken fingers and fries, for the little one, are actually really tasty and are definitely prepared with high quality chicken and cooked to order. It seems like most places when I order that for my son, even at nice places, they seemingly give you some microwaved frozen McDonalds chicken nugget BS. I like McDonalds nugs as much as the next guy (who am I kidding) but you know what I mean.
Desserts are definitely homemade in-house and it shows by how great they taste, unlike the canned defrosted from who-knows-where garbage desserts most places have around here. Not trying to talk so much smack but it's true. I most recently had the Warm Apple Cobbler and it was damnnnn good. Love me some apple cobbler. Especially after a healthy salad...??♂️
Last but not least - Service is always top-notch, professional, friendly, and personable. I'm still paranoid as sh*t to go out in public for most things with everything goin on, but been doin take-out and delivery and it's always quick and easy. Highly highly recommended; East Northport just stepped it's food game up big time - thank you Riley's!
