This is an absolutely wonderful spot for gamers and non-gamers alike. They've got a nice selection of about 300 games ranging from light party games to deep strategic games and everything in between.
It's a pretty laid back atmosphere. You pay upfront for 4 hours of table time. Then they've got a la cart food items ranging from desserts and coffee to finger foods and soda. Figure per person will run you about $20, which is a better deal than movies and popcorn and a lot more fun.
There are usually nightly events, including D&D, magic and couples nights. Definitely will be coming back.
I'm so happy there is a board game cafe on the island! The place is clean, well organized and has a game vibe. The game library is great and includes lots of new releases!
A great addition to Huntington! Fantastic idea for a fun date night. Friendly for kids and grownups alike. Wholesome and a blast. We can't wait to go again!
Great selection of games to play and spend a day or evening with friends. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and can help you get set up with any game they have in their library. Tons of games to choose from with a lot of variety. The library categorizes games by type of play, from cooperative to deck-building to two-player and more. And you can always get a recommendation. Aside from the games, they have a nice array of snacks and food to enjoy while you play. We've been here twice in the week and a half they've been open, had a great time, and we will be coming back frequently.
Super cool place. $10 cover charge to have access to a really huge selection of board/card games all night, all of which are also for sale. The staff clearly are a bunch of nerds (which is fantastic). They're eager to help with both the games you're playing and with their counter-service cafe bar. Coffee and snacks are both very good (though I don't think you'll find a proper meal here if that's what you're looking for). I met a guy who is planning on running DnD there next weekend, and he made me eager to get back into playing!
