An amazing atmosphere to look at while eating and bathrooms are cool but tiny. I had the bowtie pasta which was delicious but extremely oily. The service was decent but the waiter took the orders and left the table. They gave the check and left the table. Not so interactive. Overall this was an amazing restruant and recommend you go!
What a hit! The food and atmosphere of the restaurant was great. The Refuge is definitely a place to have dinner with friends or just enjoy a delicious cocktail at the bar.
Beautiful location. Service team is very friendly. Food selection is good. Unfortunately food was a little burned but served nearly cold...
Maybe better luck next time?
The atmosphere is great. It had red LED overhead lights, burlap wrapped tea lights on the table, and a nice ambiance. The wait, and bus, staff seemed up to snuff. The menu is very limited, but that generally indicates to me that the chef is able to concentrate on making the meals exemplary. Our food was only lackluster. The wings were tasty, but the cheesy bread was only so-so. The drinks were strong. The octopus was grilled, which is a very good way to serve it. Unfortunately, the octopus was not as tender as it should have been, and arrived at a cool temperature at the table. The skirt steak was very good, and the chimichurri sauce on top was nice, but the beans it was served with were just average. The food was, overall, very average. The prices weren't exorbitant, but they were higher than average. For the valet parking, and the help, and the atmosphere, the food experience just wasn't up to the expectations that they former set. I would probably not visit again unless I was invited by someone else.
Very nice place. In case you were wondering, they are dog friendly!! Lol
Well, that's not something I was wondering myself prior to visiting for Sunday brunch. When I was there I noticed another guest was throwing a Bark Mitzvah outside on the deck (no dogs are allowed inside I assume).
In any case, the food is really good and the serving sizes are huge. I can't wait to visit for brunch again soon.
