Flour Shoppe Cafe

A dark wood place with low volume music that adds to the relaxing and restful vibe. There's a bunch of places to sit to dine in; tables for two or four, window bars, and cafe bar. The layout is nice because the center of the room is open for people getting food and coffee to go. Food came out super fast, and is great cafe quality. We had some of their baked goods and they were tasty and would pair well with their coffee to balance the sweetness.

We tried the croque madame and le grand BLT (with an egg). Both were good portions, really delicious and balanced, and did not overcompensate with huge accompaniments ( a few pieces of fruit to cut how creamy-rich the croque madame is, and a few home made pita chips for the BLT). The food was fresh, hot, and not greasy.

I'd recommend coming here during off hours or weekday if you like the quiet and would like to recharge outside of the home. Place was well heated in the wintertime.

By the way, they do sell their bacon jam. It's tasty!!!

Beautiful new cafe, super energized and friendly staff, extra yummy homemade pastries and coffee drinks. A great looking menu as well, can't stop looking at all the insta-worthy plates heading out of the kitchen. Shattered the diet with an apple crumb donut!

Another Great Addition to Bay Shore. Our Food and Coffee's were delicious. Very good service. Casual Cafe style dining room. Loved everything about it.

Wow! Flour Shoppe Cafe just blew me away! It is a must go-to breakfast spot! I absolutely loved everything about it! The ambiance is perfect and just what downtown Bay Shore needed. I will most definitely be back!

Stopped in quickly for an americano this morning and this is such good coffee that I had to come on here and share, so good. The place is so cute, staff is friendly , the pastries look delicious, cant wait to come back this weekend to try them.
