Good place for eating food and drinking, especially cocktails. I had some delicious food and also a cocktail. Which was delicious. Our cocktail composer Joseph was especially charming with his quick wit and dedicated cocktail duties, which were charming (and also provided us with a cocktail). Thank you.
We went here for dinner. We loved the interior of the place, so lovely! The staff was friendly and attentive. They use egg whites in an amaretto sour (who knew? My sister apparently, and she was thrilled). Our food was great. Two of us ordered the duck and they said it was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. I had the wedge salad (so good!), the filet mignon sliders (french fries were amazing, turns out I don’t really like steak sliders) and the cobbler - which was apple and cranberry - for dessert. We were all really pleased with the experience and will go back!
The food is excellent. I didn't realize that it was only a brunch menu on sundays. This is our 5th time here. I had the sliced sirloin and it was excellent. I would have given them 5 stars but tonight the service was terrible. We were the only people at the tables. The hostess barely looked up at us. The waiter was sipping wine at the bar and we had to call him over each time we wanted something. If they don't step up their game in the service department they won't make it. It's a shame because the food is best around and the place is beautiful. We will try it again and see what happens.
Love the atmosphere. Great drinks- I had a spiked hot cocoa to start. Cocktails are interesting and tasty. We both really enjoyed our meals. Hubby had Bolognese pasta, I had fried chicken. Good sized portions. I'm happy they have seasonal menus so I can try new things throughout the year. We'll definitely be back. Our waitress was great...3 things I love she did automatically... Brought us water (why did restaurants stop doing this?), left the drink menu on the table (why do they usually take it away?), and brought us more napkins. The little things make me happy. Definitely check this place out.
Many visits. Always 5 stars. We've tried most of the menu, and been happy with everything. Don't skip the seasonal spreads (starter) or the fried chicken (dark meat, perfection) with grits! The cocktails are quirky and fun and change often. Even when a new drink isn't my personal favorite, it is thoughtful and balanced and perfectly presented. They do amazing flavors really well. The team is spectacular and makes everyone feel at home. They change up the menu frequently enough to make it exciting to visit regularly, but they keep it stable enough so each trip doesn't feel like a gamble. Keep up the good work. Please never, ever stop making the seasonal spreads or fried chicken!
