Pita Pit (Hauppauge)

Happy to have healthy lunch options around here, but for $9.50 the chicken bacon ranch pita left me wanting. A bit bland on flavor and not enough to fill me up. Maybe a different offering would have been a better choice.

Pita pit was my go to spot when I was away at college. I had always very much hoped that one would come to my neck of the woods and now that we have one I could not be more excited. Eating here was just like I remembered. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and the staff were nothing but welcoming and friendly. I very much look forward to being a regular here and bringing all my friends to come eat here with me. I ordered my personal favorite, the Chicken Caesar and I was not disappointed in the least.

Went to the grand opening of Pita Pit and it was a mad house. Even in the madness, the staff was friendly and my orders were completed without too long a wait. The pitas were large, full and very good. Great selection or build your own. The seating is limited and the menu board details are small and difficult to read. A great addition to the Hauppauge eating experience. I wish them well and think they will have great success!

Great pita! I wish I had taken a picture of how loaded my pita was, but I forgot as I was just extremely excited for a healthy affordable lunch. Next time I am in the area on business I am definitely stopping by again. The nice owner made my pita and was super friendly. I could hear the older man doing the dishes in the back, he was making sure all the staff in the back had what they needed.

Today this place finally opened! I visited with my family to pick up dinner. The location is great, and there is plenty of parking.
The place is very welcoming. They have a few tables, chairs, and highchairs. The staff is friendly. The menu has many options (including salads and smoothies). I picked a souvlaki pita and my husband got a "make your own" with gyro strips. First of all, that pita bread melts in your mouth. The ingredients are all fresh (veggies were crunchy).
I'm so glad that we have a local business that has healthy food. I wish them the best, and I'll be there tomorrow again ????.
