Our usual place near home which we love was unavailable for us to celebrate my husband's 50th. We had a party of 14. So I came across Croxleys. They allowed us to book a reservation online. The staff was friendly and professional whether calling to ask a question or upon arrival. Our server was calm, cool and lovely and she did her job very well. The general manager was also very nice and she is doing a great job with this location. Everyone truly enjoyed what they ordered. We all had a great time....
My wife picked this place after a online serrch for a place to celebrate my 50th birthday. She wanted pub food, relaxed environment and well priced. Nailed it in all three and the staff, was great too and the drinks where well blended. We'll definitely go back
Sat at bar for dinner and drinks. Wanted to watch football game with wife. Food delicious. Bar tenders not very attentive. More interested in personal socializing
My first time hearing about this place. Went with a couple guys from work. I ordered 15 BBQ boneless wings (Delicious) and afterwards ordered the bucket thing of Mussels. I thought it was pretty good actually. Not bad at all. I ordered 2 LI Iced Teas, which were very good and stronger than usual restaurant location drinks. That's a plus for me. The entire atmosphere was very classic and I liked it, but the table directly next to me was being used to hold onto all the dirty plates and dishes. Maybe they were backed up in the kitchen with the cleaning, but I've never had the next table over be used in that manner at any restaurant/pub/bar and it wasn't exactly appealing. Overall, I would definitely go back to try other foods and would recommend people try it out if you've never been.
Nice place for a burger and beer. Their selection is nice, and both the burgers we got - their signature one and the buffalo one - were nicely cooked. Fries were quite good too. I wish the bread bun was better or more exciting, like a pretzel bun, but this is my problem with burgers in most restaurants - it's your regular fluffier bun that just isn't as good as something else with a good crunch. Still, good food overall and a nice ambiance to the place.
