Nice place, good food, steep prices. Portions can be small. Staff are friendly, service is good. It has an upscale antique general store feel to the room. Nice bar up front, and a beer garden area for a backyard.
First time I went they gave us bread to snack on and we had a hummus plate for an appetizer - small plate ($15) and friend chicken for an entree - big plate ($20). Recently they gave us tiny banana muffins to snack on (it was 3pm), I had rainbow trout for an entree - tiny portion, under cooked potatoes ($25).
Overall I've had mixed experiences here. I'd recommend it for drinks and comfort food.
Reliably good food in a warm, inviting atmosphere. Wide menu variety, so there's something for everyone. We spend weekends in a town about 30 minutes away but still make time to come here often.
We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner at Tavern on Main in October 2018 and couldn't have asked for more! Jessica helped select great options from the menu and put us in the event space right next to the restaurant for a more private, intimate feel. The food was great, the service was excellent, highly recommend for your party needs!
The food, service and atmosphere are all great. Loud room can make conversation difficult. But everything else was great. The hostess was very pleasant and helpful. Didn't just sit behind the greeting station. Renee was an awesome waitress.....as always. You won't find better than her anywhere.
It was a wonderful experience. I felt as if it was my home, warm and comfortable. The food was excellent and the service top notch. Wonderful waitresses, smiling and very pleasant. We will come back again. By the way it was our Christmas party for the Bethel Lions Club. Kudos to them.
