The DeBruce

The Debruce was a perfect weekend getaway, we wish we stayed longer! We enjoyed the planned weekend events from ramp picking on the grounds to the nearby market at The Arnold House.

Dinner was one of the main highlights of our stay. On Saturday the restaurant was able to accommodate a last-minute vegetarian tasting menu and I was blown away. Ben took great care of us through dinner and Connor, the beverage manager, coordinated a perfect wine pairing with dinner and made us some great cocktails throughout our stay in the bar downstairs.

My husband and I celebrated our 3-day wedding at The Debruce and stayed at the hotel several times during the planning process. Things could not have been more perfect! From the wedding planning process (with multiple reschedulings due to Covid), to the hospitality, the food, the staff, and the property itself (beautiful grounds and hotel style) - everything was dreamy. The things that our families remember the most: the food (truly, it's outstanding) and the amazing staff. Room rates look pricey at first but they include a top notch multiple course dinner and a great breakfast that make the overall cost very reasonable.

The DeBruce exceeds expectations in every way. The hotel is designed beautifully and every little detail is thought out. The food is amazing and the rooms (including the beds) are so comfortable.

My fiancé and I had gotten in a car accident on our way to dinner at The DeBruce and the staff was so generous and accommodating. We had no intentions of staying the night, but they gave a room free of charge and were so kind to us throughout our dinner (which was fabulous). Thank you to the staff at The DeBruce!

The food is outstanding: each dish thoughtful, adventurous, and elegant.

The atmosphere: minimal and the grounds are impressive.

The staff: Such a lovely group of people! A warm and welcoming staff that is not up your butt trying to over sell your on experiences.

Bring a good book and stay by the fire! Get spa services at their sister property, Kenoza Hall. The massages are divine.
