Prohibition Distillery

Great spirits, atmosphere, music, retail and food. Distillery tour and tasting was informative and fun, but beware, you will buy a few bottles afterwards. Gin and Irish Creme are terrific.

Prohibition is one of the first distilleries in NY and they know what they are doing. They offer a free tasting (vodka, gin, bourbon and bourbon cream) and all their products are very smooth to taste. They also do cocktails. Great spot and definitely worth a visit if you're in Roscoe!

Great experience. Wonderful products. It’s a cant miss in Roscoe. Seating outside, social distancing, food, and tasting. Check out the “kitchen“ and learn a little about history and prohibition.

It's wonderful! We're longtime fans of the bootlegger gin, but this was our first tasting with them. We had a crowd with very different tastes, but everyone enjoyed themselves. The bourbon barrel gin was wonderfully unique. My favorite was the beaver kill whiskey. If you're in the area, it's a must see. If you manage to spot a bottle of any of their spirits in stores, grab it fast.
