Great place to try some Spanish food. The food is different but really good. I'm still trying the different types of food. The Modungo and Oxtail soups were very good.

We came to Nelly's on a whim, and it was wonderful! The food was full of flavor and not at all spicy. The roast pork and steak and onions we're delicious, especially with the yellow rice and beans. I highly recommend eating here!

Food is always consistent, fresh, and flavorful. I love love love their oxtail and goat! I don't bother cooking it anymore, because I can always get it at Nelly's :-)

Had roast pork, white rice, and black beans. Roast pork was tender, I got as much skin and blubber as I did edible pork. Black beans were really bland, could use some spice or cook with ham/onion, something, the beans need some flavor. I'm 47 and this is the first Latin restaurant I've been to that doesn't serve cafe con leche, pretty weak.
Overall not a 'bad' place, but nothing to make it really stand out as exceptional.
I would call it average, but in South Florida even an average Latin restaurant knows how to spice their food without over doing it.
