(June 4, 2019, 8:11 pm)My family and I had made reservations at the Cellar a couple years ago, during the Lights on the River. I was really excited to try out something that was more... elevated/sophisticated in Owego! Atmosphere was great, but I had to give three starts due to the following: Service, being tucked in the booth right by the kitchen (despite having a reservation), and the food not being cooking to proper temperature. Father-in-law couldn’t even eat. (probably due to the rush of the holiday, it’s understandable.) I would definitely give them another go! Impressive menu for the area

We also really enjoy their smoked salmon appetizer. -

(March 26, 2019, 4:26 pm)A very nice restaurant in a lovely old building, lots of character. Was seated in the main dining room but I would recommend seating overlooking the river. I had a seafood dish. Unfortunately the lobster and scallops were somewhat overcooked, however the flavors in the sauce and the pasta were delicious. The other people in my party were pleased with their dinners. I recommend this restaurant and will certainly return.

I will be happy to tell my friends and family to try out your restaurant. We will be coming back very soon. Thank you for a great evening of fine service and hospitality.
